Programs

R.I.S.E  is a multimodal platform under the umbrella of Ursula Smith Dance Organization. These innovative programs are designed to give communities that are limited in accessing the arts by introducing dance workshops, dance classes and dance productions.

Dance Workshops– We creatively engage communities who have limited access to the arts. Through innovative programming we foster an appreciation for performing arts through classes 

Dance Classes– We  to support and host dance productions and community events for the City of Birmingham and Jefferson County area.

Dance Productions– We offer cultural enrichment dance programs for elementary, middle, and high school. We provide those with an interest in dance an opportunity to learn, while exposing them to the many facets of cultural dance
